Purchasing and stock value per agent Recharging per client and plot Reporting that the client can use

Custom input management software for an agricultural contractor

Appfront builds software for contract farmers who want their agent administration in order at the office. Purchases from suppliers, stock and stock value per agent, and what was used for which client on which plot, all come together. Agents are correctly recharged on the invoice, the client receives an overview that is usable for their own records, and the season closes with a balance that adds up. We describe recording from the cab on the app page.

What is agent administration software for a contract farmer?

A contractor applying crop protection or fertiliser uses products that are sometimes bought in by themselves and sometimes supplied by the client. What they purchased must be recharged, and what the client supplied must not. The stock has a value, changes every day of the season, and must match what was bought and used at the end.

In practice, purchases sit in the accounts, usage is recorded on job sheets or in an app, and the recharge is looked up by hand when invoicing. A product that was used but not recharged is money lost. A client asks for an overview of what was used on their own fields, and that has to be worked out. And at the end of the season, the stock differs from what the accounts say.

We build custom solutions because contractors differ: which products you buy in yourself, how you recharge, which clients supply their own, and which systems you use for the field, invoicing and accounts. Which products may be used when follows the authorisation and the advice of the crop adviser; the software ensures the administration around it is correct.

Purchasing and stock value

Per product, what has been bought, what is in stock and what it is worth, per storage location.

Correctly recharged

Usage per client and field on the invoice, distinguishing between your own and client-supplied products.

Useful for the client

An overview per client of what was used on which fields, for their own records.

How we build your plant protection product management software for a agricultural contractor

We start with your administration: which assets, which suppliers, how recharging works today, and where the discrepancies arise. If you already have the app for the field, or are having one built, we use its registration data. Otherwise, usage comes from work orders or an existing system, so that the office and the field use the same data.

Security and privacy in contractor spraying administration software

The software holds data on customers, fields, products and prices. Access is set by role, and a customer only sees their own overview.

The software runs in a European data centre, with encrypted storage, daily back-ups and sign-in with a second factor.

Frequently asked questions about contractor spraying administration software

Questions contractors ask before getting started.

It tracks purchases, stock and stock value per product, records usage per customer and field, charges products through on the invoice, produces overviews for customers, and closes the season with a balance.

The app is for the cab: stock to hand, usage recorded per field and a check on approval before spraying. This software is for the office: purchasing, stock value, recharging, customer overviews and the balance at the end of the season.

For each application, it records whether the product belongs to you or to the customer. Your own products are recharged, customer-supplied products are not, but they still appear in the customer's overview. That way both the invoice and the records are correct.

According to the terms you set, per customer or in general: at purchase price plus a markup, at a fixed price, or included in a rate per hectare. The software does the calculations; you make the decisions.

Yes. For each customer, the software produces an overview of what was used on which field, on which date and at which dose. What the customer needs to demonstrate with it is for the customer to decide with their own adviser or certification body.

Yes, provided it has an interface. Purchase invoices come in, recharged products go to invoicing, and the stock value can be passed to the accounts.

Check that first. Some packages for contractors have a stock module, and that is enough if it handles recharging and customer overviews well. Custom development makes sense if you recharge many products, have customers supply their own, or if the seasonal balance never closes.
