Figures per location from your own systems A report that grows throughout the year Ready to publish and submit

Custom quality report generator for care providers (VVT)

Every organisation in nursing, residential care and home care produces an annual quality report or quality overview, publishes it and submits where it can be found. The figures for it sit in the EHR, the HR system, the incident reporting system and the client experience survey, and are gathered by hand every spring. Appfront builds a generator that assembles that report from your own systems: the indicators per location, the teams' own commentary alongside them, and a report that grows throughout the year instead of being written in March.

What is software that builds the quality report for a long-term care organisation?

A quality report generator builds the annual report from the data you already have. The quality framework for nursing home care, succeeded by the Generiek Kompas, requires a quality overview per organisation and the submission of quality data and client experience. The generator pulls the indicators per location from the EHR, staffing figures from the HR system, incidents from the reporting system and scores from the experience survey, places them in the structure of your report, and lets teams and locations write their own interpretation alongside. The result is a report that can be published, with the data ready for submission.

Without such a system, the report starts from scratch every March. The quality officer asks each location for figures, receives them back in different formats, puts them in a document, asks the teams for a reflection, and rewrites everything into a single report. The figures don't always match what was submitted, last year's reflection gets copied, and anyone who wants to know how a location is doing halfway through the year has to wait for the next report.

We build custom because your systems and your report determine what the generator needs to do. Which EHR and HR system you use, which indicators you track per location, how your report is structured, who writes the texts and who approves them, and whether you produce one report for the group or one per location all differ. The generator follows your structure and your sources; the requirements of the quality framework are the minimum, not the ceiling.

How we build your software that builds the quality report for a long-term care organisation

We start with last year's report: which sections it contains, where the figures came from, who wrote what and where it took time. Then we build a first version with the indicators per location from your main source, usually the EHR, because that is where most of the figures sit. The quality officer and a few locations work with it for a while. The other sources, the teams' texts, approval and publication follow once that works well. After that, we maintain the generator when the quality framework or your organisation changes.

What software that builds the quality report for a long-term care organisation actually does

The components below appear in almost every quality report generator. Which ones you need depends on your sources and on how your report is structured.

Indicators

Per location, straight from the source.

Staff

Staffing figures from HR.

Client experience

Scores from the survey.

Commentary

Text from teams and locations.

Approval

Versions and sign-off.

Publication

Web page, document, submission.

Who we build software for that compiles the quality report of a care organisation (VVT)

The generator is intended for organisations with multiple locations and multiple source systems, where the report is currently compiled by hand every year. The more locations you have, the more it saves.

Nursing homes

Indicators per location.

Home care

Teams instead of locations.

Residential care homes

Small-scale, multiple homes.

Groups

One report, many locations.

Why Appfront for software that compiles the quality report of a care organisation (VVT)?

A report that takes weeks every spring, figures that don't match what was submitted, or a reflection copied over from last year costs a care organisation time and credibility with the client council, the inspectorate and the care office. That is what we build on: the figures from your own systems, the commentary from the people who do the work, and a report that is useful all year round.

Less work

Figures arrive automatically.

Balanced

Same source as the submission.

All year round

Not just in March.

Security and privacy for software that compiles the quality report of a care organisation (VVT)

The generator works with aggregated figures per location, not with client files. Integrations with the EHR only retrieve counts. Access is set up per role: a team writes its own section, a location manager approves, and the quality officer sees everything. Every version is stored with a name and timestamp.

The software runs in a European data centre, with encrypted connections and storage and daily backups. For the processing, we enter into a data processing agreement with you.

Frequently asked questions about software that compiles the quality report of a care organisation (VVT)

Questions that quality officers and board members in the care sector ask before getting started.

It compiles the annual quality report or quality overview from your own systems: indicators per location from the EHR, staffing figures from HR, incidents and client experience, with the teams' text alongside, in the structure of your report.

Yes. The structure of your report is set up around what the quality framework requires, and the data that has to be submitted is ready in the form needed. If the framework changes, we adapt the structure.

Where does the data come from?

Yes. Each team or location writes its own commentary on the figures, in the generator, throughout the year. The quality officer can see what has been written and what is still open.

Yes. The indicators are updated as soon as the source systems have new figures, so the picture per location is available all year round, not just in the report.

As a web page on your own site, as a PDF, or both. The location can then be supplied as the quality framework requires.

For organisations with multiple locations and multiple source systems. For a single location with one EHR, a good template is often enough.

The quality report from your own systems?

Tell us how last year's report was put together and which systems the figures came from. We'll show you how the generator can take that over.
