Custom inspection report software for agricultural machinery
A mechanisation or inspection company inspects sprayers, tractors, implements and work equipment. Each type has its own checklist, its own measurements and its own report, and the customer needs to know when the next inspection is due. Appfront builds the software that handles it: the right checklist per machine, measurements and photos in the workshop or on the farm, a report generated from the same data, and a timely reminder.
What is software for agricultural machinery inspection reports?
Agricultural machinery is inspected for different reasons. Crop protection equipment must be inspected periodically by a company recognised for this by the SKL, the Stichting Kwaliteitseisen Landbouwtechniek (Dutch agricultural engineering quality foundation). Work equipment such as lifting and hoisting gear falls under the periodic inspection required by the Arbobesluit (Dutch Working Conditions Decree). And a machine is inspected before sale, trade-in, hire or after damage.
Each inspection has its own checklist, its own measurements and its own report. In many workshops this lives on paper forms or in a spreadsheet per type. The inspector copies out measurements, photos sit on a phone, the report is typed up afterwards, and whether a customer comes back on time for the next inspection depends on someone's memory.
We build custom software because every company works with different machines and different inspections. Which machine types, which checklists, which limit values, which report and which quality mark determine how the software works. We record the rules of the SKL or of your own inspection scheme exactly as they apply to you. If there is any doubt about a requirement, the scheme prevails, not the software.

How we build your software for agricultural machinery inspection reports
We start with your workshop: which machines you inspect, which types of inspection you carry out, who inspects, and what the report your customer receives looks like. Then we build a first version covering one type of inspection, often the one you do most. Your inspectors use it on real inspections. Other machine types, the quality mark, the reminders and the integration with your workshop or dealer software follow once that works well. After that, we maintain the software whenever an inspection scheme or your way of working changes.

Why choose Appfront for your agricultural machinery inspection report software?
A report typed up a day later, a reading copied across wrongly or a customer who misses their next inspection all cost a machinery business time and revenue. That is what we build around: the right checklist for each machine, a report produced from the inspection itself, and a customer who comes back on time.
Faster report
Done when the inspection is done.
Fewer errors
Readings checked on the spot.
More repeat business
Reminders on time.
Security and privacy for agricultural machinery inspection report software
The software mainly processes machine data, inspection results and customer details such as name, address and contact person. Access is set up per role, an inspector sees the inspections that belong to them, and every report is logged with a name and time, so you can later trace who inspected what.
The software runs in a European data centre, with encrypted storage and daily backups. Reports are kept for as long as the inspection scheme or your own policy requires. We record the processing in a data processing agreement.
Frequently asked questions about agricultural machinery inspection report software
Questions that machinery and inspection businesses ask before they get started.
It gives the inspector the right checklist for the machine and the type of inspection, records measurements, photos and the verdict, and produces the report and, if needed, the inspection mark from them. It then keeps the history for each machine and reminds the customer of the next inspection.
Yes, with a checklist and report that follow the scheme that applies to your accreditation. The requirements and intervals come from that scheme, not from the software. We set them up as the SKL prescribes them for your type of equipment, and update them when the scheme changes.
Yes. The inspector works on a tablet, even without a network connection, and the inspection is sent as soon as there is a connection again. That way a machine can be inspected on site, and the customer has the report before the inspector leaves.
Yes. A spraying equipment inspection, a periodic inspection of work equipment and an inspection for trade-in or rental each have their own checklist and report. The software picks the right one based on the machine and the type of inspection.
At every inspection, the software records the next date according to the interval that applies to that machine. The customer gets a reminder by email or text message in good time, and you can see which inspections are coming up so you can schedule them.
Often, yes. Customer and machine details can come from your workshop or dealer software, and repair items from the inspection can become a work order there. We look at which integration is possible in the first step.
For machinery and inspection businesses with many inspections, different types of machines or their own report that does not fit into an off-the-shelf package. If you only inspect a machine now and then, a good form is often enough.
