Custom Payt integration
Appfront builds integrations with Payt, the debt collection software. Payt already connects to many accounting and industry-specific packages, via REST, webhooks or files. Where that isn't possible, we build the integration: invoices and payments from your own invoicing or ERP system, the status of reminders and payment arrangements in your customer service or customer portal, and outstanding items in your own dashboard.
What is a Payt integration?
Payt is debt collection software that automates reminders, final demands, payment links and payment arrangements. Payt integrates with many accounting and industry-specific packages and supports several ways of connecting: via a REST interface, webhooks that send a signal on each change, or files. For packages on the list, the standard integration is often sufficient.
For businesses with their own invoicing system, ERP or industry-specific package, invoices and payments don't reach Payt automatically. An export is imported once a day or week, and a customer who has already paid still receives a reminder. Customer service doesn't know a payment arrangement is in place. A customer with an overdue balance can still place orders in the customer portal. And the financial figures sit apart from everything else.
We build custom because the integration has to fit your business: where invoices and payments come from, which systems need to know a debtor's status, what should happen when a payment is overdue, and which figures you want to see. Which integration route suits your systems is something we look at in the first step, together with you and, where needed, with Payt. We usually start with invoices and payments, because unjustified reminders need to disappear first.
Invoices and payments
Invoices and payments from your own system in Payt, so nobody receives a reminder for what has already been paid.
Status where it's needed
Reminders, final demands and arrangements visible to customer service, in the CRM or in the customer portal.
Outstanding items in view
Outstanding items and payment behaviour on your own dashboard, alongside other figures.
How we build your Payt integration
We start with your systems: where invoices and payments come from, who needs to know a debtor's status, and where things currently fall behind.
Your invoicing, ERP, CRM, customer portal and dashboard.
Payt connected to your systems via REST, webhooks or files.
Testing with real debtors, error monitoring, and a log for each message.
Phased go-live, and maintenance when Payt or your systems change.
What a Payt integration does in practice
The components below feature in almost every Payt integration. Which ones you need depends on your systems.
Invoices
Invoices from your own invoicing or ERP system to Payt.
Payments
Payments and credit notes, processed quickly.
Webhooks
Signals sent back to your systems with each change.
Customer status
Reminders and arrangements for customer service.
Block
A block or signal when a balance is overdue.
Dashboard
Outstanding items and payment behaviour in your dashboard.
Who we build Payt integrations for
The integration is intended for organisations that use Payt alongside their own systems.
Companies with their own ERP
Invoices from an in-house system. Invoices without an export are the core.
Organisations with subscriptions
Many small invoices. Fast payment processing matters most.
Businesses with a portal
Customers who order for themselves. The block on overdue balances is what's needed.
Growing businesses
Debtors alongside other figures. The dashboard is the core.
Technology and integrations
This page is about integrations with Payt. Why choose Appfront for your Payt integration?
A reminder for an invoice that has already been paid costs you a customer and a phone call. We build around that: invoices and payments appear in Payt straight away, statuses are kept where they are needed, and you get figures without manual exports.
No mistaken reminders
Payments appear in Payt immediately.
Customer service knows
An arrangement is visible during the conversation.
Risk reduced
A customer who is behind on payments cannot simply keep ordering.
Security and privacy in a Payt integration
The integration processes data about customers, invoices, payments and arrears, which is confidential financial information. Access credentials are stored encrypted and used only by the integration, with only the permissions it needs.
The integration runs in a European data centre, with encrypted storage, daily back-ups and a log of every message.

Payt is debt collection software that automates reminders, final demands, payment links and payment arrangements. It integrates with many accounting and industry-specific packages.
Yes, with many accounting and industry-specific packages. These are often sufficient. A custom integration is needed for your own invoicing system, ERP, CRM, customer portal or dashboard that isn't on the list.
Payt supports connecting via REST, via webhooks that send a signal on each change, and via files. We assess which route suits your systems in the first step. Where possible, we use REST and webhooks, as they work directly. Where a system can only supply files, we use those, with a completeness check on every delivery.
As quickly as they appear in your own system. This means a customer who has already paid no longer receives a reminder. Credit notes and set-offs follow the same route, so the outstanding balance is accurate.
Yes. Reminders, final notices and payment arrangements from Payt can be visible in your customer service system or CRM, so an employee knows what is going on. A new appointment that customer service makes with a customer can be sent back to Payt, so the reminders are adjusted accordingly.
Yes, according to the rules you define. A signal from Payt can trigger a block or a notice in your customer portal or order system, so a customer with arrears cannot simply keep ordering.
For organisations with their own invoicing, ERP, portal or dashboard alongside Payt, currently working with exports. With a package from the standard list, the standard integration is often sufficient.
