What is the KvK API?
The KvK API gives your business software direct access to the Trade Register. Search for companies by name or KvK number, retrieve official details, and validate whether a company actually exists and is active. All programmatically, without manual searching.
Searching companies
Search by trade name, KvK number, branch number or address. The KvK Search API returns a list of matches including basic details. Ideal for autocomplete in forms and quick lookups.
Retrieving company profile
With a KvK number, the Basic Profile API retrieves all official details: trade name, legal form, branch address, SBI codes, date of establishment, number of employees and active status.
Validation and verification
Check whether a KvK number is valid, whether the company is active and whether the details you have entered match the Trade Register. Essential for KYC, compliance and risk assessment.
