Till and your own systems connected Stock and revenue in one place Aligned with Extenda

Custom ExtendaGO integration development

ExtendaGO is the cloud-based point-of-sale system from Extenda Retail, with a mobile till on iOS and a cloud back office. It comes with standard integrations for WooCommerce, SumUp and accounting packages, among others. Appfront builds the connection to the systems that aren't on that list, such as your own ERP, purchasing, loyalty programme or reporting, so that revenue and stock don't have to be transferred by hand.

What is an ExtendaGO integration?

ExtendaGO is a cloud-based point-of-sale system from Extenda Retail, a supplier that is especially big in Scandinavia and works with partners in the Netherlands. The till runs on iPads and iPhones, the back office is in the cloud, and there are extensions for payments, online ordering and assisted selling. ExtendaGO is used in shops, from clothing to health, and in hospitality such as coffee shops and bakeries.

Anything that isn't covered by the standard integrations often gets done by hand. Revenue per shop is exported and placed in a spreadsheet next to purchasing. Stock in the warehouse and in the shop drifts apart, because the ERP only sees sales later. And your own app or loyalty programme doesn't know about in-store purchases.

We build custom because retailers differ: one shop or a chain, which ERP or WMS sits alongside, and which data needs to go where. Which integration options Extenda offers for your situation, and under what conditions, we look at in the first step, together with you and with Extenda or your till partner. Only then do we build.

How we build your ExtendaGO integration

We start with your shops: which systems you use alongside ExtendaGO, which data currently goes by hand, who needs to see what, and how often stock needs to be accurate. Then, with Extenda or your till partner, we look at which route is available. We often begin with revenue and receipts per shop going to the ERP or reporting, because that immediately saves manual work and carries little risk. Two-way stock and article sync follows once the first integration is running well. After that, we maintain the integration when ExtendaGO or your own systems change.

What an ExtendaGO integration actually does

The components below appear in almost every ExtendaGO integration. Which ones you need depends on your shops and systems.

Notes

Per shop and till.

Revenue

To ERP or accounting.

Stock

Till, webshop and warehouse.

Items

Prices from a single source.

Clients

With consent, for loyalty.

Log

Every message recorded.

Who we build an ExtendaGO integration for

The integration is intended for businesses that use ExtendaGO alongside other systems. The more shops and systems you have, the more time an integration saves.

Retail chains

Multiple shops. Revenue and stock added up side by side.

Shop with a webshop

Two channels. A single stock is the core.

Hospitality with multiple locations

A till per venue. Figures added together.

Software suppliers

A product for retail. Connecting it is the core.

Technology and integrations

This page is about integrations with ExtendaGO. For your own point-of-sale system, see our page on POS software, for stock across multiple channels our page on stock synchronisation, and for your own shop app our page on retail apps. You can read about our approach on custom software development.

Why Appfront for your ExtendaGO integration?

Revenue exported shop by shop, and stock that differs between the till and the warehouse, cost a retailer time and sales every week. That's what we build on: revenue in one place, stock that is accurate, and an integration aligned with Extenda.

No exports

Revenue flows in automatically.

Accurate stock

The same quantities everywhere.

Careful

Customer data, with consent.

Security and privacy in an ExtendaGO integration

The integration processes sales data and sometimes customer data, such as names and purchases for a loyalty programme. We only use the data that is needed, access credentials are stored encrypted, and every message is logged. Payment details stay with the payment provider.

The integration runs in a European data centre, with encrypted storage and daily backups. We record the processing in a data processing agreement.

Frequently asked questions about an ExtendaGO integration

Questions retailers ask before getting started.

ExtendaGO is a cloud-based point of sale system from Extenda Retail. The till runs on iPads and iPhones, the back office is in the cloud, and there are add-ons for payments and online ordering. It is used in shops and in hospitality.

Yes, including with WooCommerce, with payment terminals and with a number of accounting and ERP packages. If your system is on that list and the integration does what you need, a custom build isn't necessary. A custom integration is for systems and requirements that aren't covered.

That depends on what Extenda offers for your situation. In the first step, together with you and with Extenda or your point of sale partner, we look at which data is available, how access is arranged and under what conditions. Only then do we build, so you don't get stuck on a route that doesn't exist.

Yes. In-store sales reduce stock in the ERP or the webshop, and goods received in the warehouse show up in the till. How often this happens, we tailor to what you sell and how quickly an item can sell out.

Yes. Receipts and revenue per shop, per day and per product group come together in a single overview or in your own reporting, without anyone having to export data shop by shop. That way you see which shop is lagging and which products are selling well.

The integration reports it and records what went wrong. The message is retried or queued for review, so no receipt is lost or ends up duplicated in your accounting.

Carefully. We only use the data that is needed, and for loyalty or marketing only from customers who have given their consent. Payment details stay with the payment provider. We record the processing in a data processing agreement.

For retail chains with multiple shops, for retailers with a webshop and their own ERP or WMS, for hospitality businesses with multiple locations, and for software vendors who want to connect their product to ExtendaGO. If you run a single shop and use the standard integrations, a custom integration is often unnecessary.
