Custom ASPOS integration
Appfront builds integrations with ASPOS, the omnichannel platform from Valk Solutions for retailers, covering among other things the till, webshop, app, stock and ordering. We connect ASPOS with your own systems: articles and prices from your PIM or ERP, sales and stock per store to your planning or warehouse, customers and points to your loyalty programme, and figures to your own dashboard.
What is an ASPOS integration?
ASPOS is an omnichannel platform from Valk Solutions for retailers. It includes an online till, webshop, app, stock management, electronic ordering and reporting, and runs entirely in the cloud. Shops in food, DIY, fashion and pet retail, among others, use it. For businesses that also run their own systems, an integration is the way to keep everything in sync.
Without an integration, items and prices are maintained in the ERP and then entered again in the till. A promotion is ready in one system but not yet in the other. Sales and stock per store reach purchasing through an export. And management wants to see performance per store and product group, alongside figures from other systems.
We build custom work because the integration has to fit how you operate: which ERP, PIM or warehouse system you use, which system is the source for items and prices, how ordering and replenishment run, and which figures you want to see. We look at which integration options ASPOS offers in the first step, together with you and, where needed, with Valk Solutions.
One source for items
Items, prices and promotions from your ERP or PIM into ASPOS, without entering them twice.
Sales and stock
Sales and stock per store and channel, feeding purchasing, warehousing and planning.
Stores in your dashboard
Revenue, margin and stock per store and product group, sent to your own dashboard.
How we build your ASPOS integration
We start with your systems: which ones you use alongside ASPOS, how items, prices, sales and stock flow, and where data is currently re-entered by hand.
Your ERP, PIM, warehouse, loyalty and dashboard, and which data needs to move in which direction.
ASPOS connected to your systems for items, prices, sales and stock.
Testing with real items and sales, error monitoring, and a log for every message.
A phased go-live store by store, with ongoing management when ASPOS or your systems change.
What an ASPOS integration does in practice
The components below come up in almost every ASPOS integration. Which ones you need depends on your systems.
Items
Items with attributes from your ERP or PIM into ASPOS.
Prices and promotions
Prices and promotions applied at the same time across all stores and channels.
Sales
Sales per store and channel sent to your own systems.
Stock
Stock levels sent to purchasing, warehousing and replenishment.
Clients
Customers and points kept in line with your loyalty programme.
Dashboard
Revenue and stock per store in your dashboard.
Who we build ASPOS integrations for
The integration is intended for retailers who use ASPOS alongside their own systems.
Retail chains
Many stores with one range. Items and prices are at the core.
Franchise formats
Independent stores within one format. Figures per store matter most.
Stores with a webshop
Store and online running side by side. Stock per channel is what's needed.
Wholesalers with stores
An in-house ERP with stores behind it. The integration with purchasing is the core.
Technology and integrations
This page is about integrations with ASPOS. For your own till system, see our page on point-of-sale software, for stock across channels our page on multichannel stock synchronisation, and for shops our page on a retail app. You can read about our approach at building software.
Why Appfront for your ASPOS integration?
An action that goes wrong in the till is something the customer notices at the checkout. We build around that: one source for items and prices, sales and stock that flow through automatically, and figures without manual export.
No duplicate entry
Items and prices are maintained once.
Stock on time
Purchasing and warehousing see sales and stock per store.
Stores at a glance
Revenue and margin per store without exporting data.
Security and privacy in an ASPOS integration
The integration processes data on items, sales and customers, including personal data in the loyalty programme. Access credentials are stored encrypted and used only by the integration, with only the permissions it needs.
The integration runs in a European data centre, with encrypted storage, daily back-ups and a log of every message.
Frequently asked questions about an ASPOS integration
Questions retailers ask before getting started.
ASPOS is an omnichannel platform from Valk Solutions for retailers, covering among other things tills, webshop, app, stock management, ordering and reporting. It is delivered as a cloud service, and till transactions are processed centrally in real time, so every store works from the same data.
Yes, and they are often necessary. A custom integration is needed if you also have your own ERP, PIM, warehouse system, loyalty programme or dashboard that must stay in step with ASPOS.
Through the integration options offered by ASPOS and the interfaces of your other systems. Which route suits you is something we look at in the first step. For each flow we record which system is the source and how often it synchronises.
Yes. Prices and promotions from your ERP or PIM are sent to ASPOS with the date they take effect, so every store and channel changes at the same time. A promotion that is ready goes live at the agreed moment, without anyone having to set it up at the till.
Yes. Sales and stock levels per store are sent to your warehouse or purchasing team, so replenishment is based on actual stock. Stock that moves between stores or is written off is included, so the warehouse never sees outdated figures.
The integration reports the problem and records what went wrong. The message is retried or set aside for review. An overview shows which messages have been processed, which are waiting and which need attention.
For retailers with their own systems alongside ASPOS, where items, prices or figures are currently being re-keyed. If you do everything within ASPOS, an integration is often not needed.
ASPOS and your own systems with the same data?
Tell us which systems you use alongside ASPOS, how items, prices and stock flow, and where data is currently re-entered by hand. We will show you what the integration would look like.
