Custom AllUnited integration
AllUnited is software for membership administration and club management, used by sports clubs, cultural and community associations, and a number of federations. The members are in there, but sign-ups come in via the website, access to the premises runs through another system, and a custom app needs to know who is a member. Appfront builds integrations with AllUnited so that the member list is the same everywhere.
What is an AllUnited integration?
An AllUnited integration links the membership administration to the systems your members come into contact with. A new member signs up on the website and then appears in AllUnited. A member who cancels also loses access to the premises on the end date. And a custom app or member portal knows who is a member and which team or department they belong to, without anyone having to maintain that separately.
Without an integration, the membership administrator does all of this by hand. The sign-up form sends an email, someone enters the member in AllUnited, someone else enters them in the access system, and the list in the app is updated once a season with an export. At an association with hundreds of members and volunteers who do this alongside their day jobs, the lists soon drift apart.
We build custom because the route differs from one situation to the next. We have not found any public API documentation for AllUnited; whether the route for your association or federation is an integration, a web service or a controlled export, we settle in the first step with you and with AllUnited. We then build on that route, with checks so that no members come in twice or incorrectly.
Registration
Straight into AllUnited.
Consistent everywhere
Website, app, access.
Club and federation
One member list.
How we build your AllUnited integration
We start with your association: how AllUnited is set up, where sign-ups come in, which systems need the member list and what is exchanged with the federation. We then agree the route with AllUnited and build the first integration, usually the sign-up from the website, because that is where most of the manual work is. You work with it for a while. Access, app and membership fees follow once that runs well. After that, we maintain the integration whenever AllUnited or your association changes.
Set-up and systems.
Sign-up to members.
Access, app, fees.
Go-live, monitoring, and maintenance when things change.
What an AllUnited integration actually does
The components below appear in almost every AllUnited integration. Which ones you need depends on your association and the systems around it.
Registration
Website to member list.
Mutations
Address, team, cancellation.
Access
Pass or app tied to membership.
Member portal
Who is a member, in the app.
Membership fees
On to payment and collection.
Log
Every exchange visible.
Who we build an AllUnited integration for
The integration is intended for associations and federations that use AllUnited and where the member list is also needed in other systems. The more members and systems, the more it delivers.
Sports clubs
Members, teams and access.
Cultural clubs
Departments and classes.
Federations
Members via the clubs.
Community organisations
Members and volunteers.
Technology and integrations
This page is about integrations with AllUnited. If your club works with Sportlink, see our page on the Sportlink integration; for custom software for your club there is our page on sports club software, and for collecting membership fees our page on the ClubCollect integration. You can read about our approach on custom software development.
Why Appfront for your AllUnited integration?
A member who can still enter the premises after cancelling, a sign-up that sits in a mailbox for a week, or an app still showing last season's members costs a club money and costs volunteers their evenings. That is what we build on: whatever comes in appears in AllUnited straight away, the member list is the same everywhere, and every exchange can be traced.
No retyping
Sign-up means instant membership.
Correct everywhere
Access and app included.
Volunteers relieved
Less manual work.
Security and privacy with an AllUnited integration
Membership administration contains personal data, often including that of minors. The integration only sends the fields that are needed, access is set up per role and every exchange is logged with time and result. For the processing, we enter into a data processing agreement with you.
The integration runs in a European data centre, with encrypted connections and storage. The access credentials for AllUnited are kept shielded and are not visible to anyone using the website or the app.
Frequently asked questions about an AllUnited integration
Questions that clubs and associations ask before getting started.
A connection between the membership administration in AllUnited and other systems used by your club or association, such as the sign-up form on the website, access control or a custom app. Data then flows back and forth automatically instead of by hand.
We have not found any public API documentation. Which route is available for your situation, we settle in the first step together with you and AllUnited. If there is no direct integration, a controlled export and import can be a good interim step.
Yes, if the route allows it. The form sends the data to AllUnited, optionally via the membership administrator for approval first, and the new member receives a confirmation.
Yes. A new member gets access, and a member who cancels loses it on the end date. That way nobody has to maintain two lists.
Yes. An association that uses AllUnited can exchange members and data of affiliated clubs with its own systems, such as a competition system or a training environment.
Then that record is not passed on, and the log shows you which one it was and why. You can fix it and resend it, without the rest being held up.
Clubs and associations with many members and several systems that need the member list, such as a website, app and access control. If it is only a handful of changes per month, keeping track by hand is often enough.
