Custom software for registering wage value assessments
Appfront builds software for municipalities, work organisations and agencies that carry out or process earnings capacity assessments: per employee the workplace and role, the assessment with its method, the date, the assessor and the outcome, the reassessment scheduled on time, and the translation into wage cost subsidy and payment to the employer. So that every assessment is traceable, no reassessment is forgotten, and the subsidy matches the established earnings capacity.
What is software for recording earning capacity assessments?
If a person with a disability cannot earn the full minimum wage, the employer may be eligible for a wage cost subsidy under the Participation Act. The amount depends on earning capacity: what the employee can achieve in that role at that workplace. This earning capacity is determined through an assessment by a qualified assessor, following a set method, and is reassessed periodically. Earning capacity assessment software records this for each employee and links it to the subsidy.
In many municipalities and work organisations, assessments sit as reports in a folder, and the outcome in a spreadsheet. When a reassessment is due, a case officer has to know it from memory, or not. A change in hours or wages isn't carried through to the subsidy. And when the accountant asks a question or an employer lodges an objection, someone has to trace which assessment the subsidy rests on.
We build custom solutions because the registration has to fit how you work: which methods and specialists you use, how often you reassess, how you calculate and pay wage cost subsidies, and which case management system and financial administration you use. The rules for wage cost subsidies are set out in the Participation Act and your local ordinance; what applies to you is for you to confirm with your adviser or legal department.

How we build your software for recording earnings capacity assessments

Why choose Appfront for your earnings capacity assessment software?
A subsidy resting on an outdated assessment is a risk for both the municipality and the employer. That's what we build for: every assessment traceable, reassessments on time, and subsidies that add up.
Traceable
For each subsidy, you can see which measurement it rests on, who carried it out and when.
Nothing out of date
Reassessments are scheduled and trigger an alert.
Subsidy is correct
Any change in hours or wages is recalculated automatically.
Security and privacy in software for recording earning capacity assessments
The software holds data on employees' health and capacity for work, which is special category personal data. Access is set by role: the consultant sees their own employees, the specialist sees their own assessments, and the finance department sees the payments. Every access is logged.
The software runs in a European data centre or in your own environment, with encrypted storage, daily back-ups and two-factor sign-in.
Frequently asked questions about software for recording earning capacity assessments
Questions municipalities and work organisations ask before getting started.
It records the workplace, role and assessments for each employee, including the method, the specialist and the outcome. It schedules reassessments, calculates the wage cost subsidy from the earning capacity, processes payments to employers, and produces reports.
The Participatiewet (Participation Act) governs wage cost subsidies for people with a work-limiting disability, and municipalities set out how it is applied in a local ordinance. Earnings capacity is established through an assessment at the workplace. What applies to your municipality is for you to determine with your legal department or adviser.
The methods you use. For each assessment, the method, the specialist and the outcome are recorded, along with the report.
According to the deadlines you set. The software gives advance notice when a reassessment is due, so it can be planned in time.
Yes, from the earning capacity, the hours and the wage, according to the rules you define. Any change in hours or wages is recalculated. The calculation can be checked per period, with the assessment and the underlying data.
Yes, provided that system has an interface. Decisions and documents can stay in the case management system, with the registration held here.
Check this first. Some packages record wage cost subsidies, and that is enough if the assessments are simple. Custom software makes sense if you want assessments, reassessments and payments in one overview, or if you process assessments for several municipalities.
