How do you connect neighbours who don't know each other in a way that feels both safe and effortless? With MIER, we want to build trust, not only in the identity of the user, but also in the speed with which a helping hand gets arranged. At the same time, the app should not lose the spontaneity of offline neighbourly help.

From idea to reality
From the outset, we were involved with MIER as a strategic and technical partner. In joint workshops, we translated the vision into a sharp scope and a feasible roadmap, so we could start building with clear direction. By developing the app in Agile sprints, we gained continuous insight into progress and results, with room to adjust where needed. In this way, MIER grew step by step into a stable and scalable platform with trust at its core.
An app that feels like your own neighbourhood
Ease of use was central to the development. The app had to feel as natural as a chat over the garden fence. That is why we designed every step, from posting a task to completing payment, with minimal barriers and maximum clarity. Transparent profiles, clear status updates and direct communication build trust between neighbours who don't yet know each other.

The engine behind the platform
For MIER, we developed a native mobile app for iOS and Android, where users can easily create an account and verify their identity via iDIN. As soon as a job is posted, a matching algorithm we developed automatically pairs relevant neighbours based on location and availability. After a successful match, users can securely arrange all the details via the integrated chat feature, including payment within the app. Alongside the user app, we built a clear administration portal, giving administrators real-time insight into users, posted jobs and matches made. In this way, MIER combines ease of use at the front end with control and transparency at the back end.
