A software engagement starts with an introductory call: half an hour to an hour in which we go through which problem you want to tackle, which systems are in place, and what the expectations are among management, IT and users on the shop floor. That conversation is free and without obligation. It often turns out that: this can be done with an existing SaaS product, or: a simple integration is cheaper here, or: this is exactly the use case where bespoke software adds value for your SME.
If there is a suitable use case, we schedule a discovery. This is a short phase in which we work out the solution at the level of architecture and interaction: which integrations (ERP, CRM, accounting, email tooling, e-commerce, FloraHolland data), which data flows, which compliance requirements, and what the release pipeline looks like. We deliver a concrete plan with scope, timeline and budget, so you can make an internal decision rather than working from a vague direction.
This is followed by the build in sprints. At the end of each sprint, something working is running, first in a limited form and then increasingly complete. This helps to discover early what in the design doesn't work for your staff or customers, to adjust priorities, and to bring stakeholders along. We work in your own repository, with code review, automated tests and a clean release pipeline.
After go-live comes maintenance and optimisation. Software requires upkeep: new browsers, changing APIs, performance tuning, user feedback. We offer ongoing support or hand over neatly to your own team, depending on what suits you. For some Uithoorn clients we have remained the regular software partner; for others we deliver and provide support on request.
