Your sites and apps in line with the register Status per site in your own overview Statements renewed on time

Custom DigiToegankelijk integration

Appfront builds integrations between your own management environment and DigiToegankelijk, the knowledge centre run by Logius, which holds the register of accessibility statements and the dashboard showing how organisations are doing. We make sure your overview of websites and apps, the audits and the statements stay in line with the register, that the status per site appears in your own overview, and that you are alerted in good time when something needs renewing.

What is a DigiToegankelijk integration?

Public sector organisations must make their websites and apps digitally accessible and publish a statement for each site or app on its current status. DigiToegankelijk, the knowledge centre run by Logius, maintains the register of those statements and the DigiToegankelijk Dashboard, which shows how far each organisation has progressed. Organisations create their statements using an assistant, and in MijnDigiToegankelijk they can see the status of their sites and apps.

A large organisation may have dozens or even hundreds of sites and apps, from the main website to campaign sites and supplier-built apps. Who owns each one, when was it audited, which statement belongs to it, and what still needs doing? That information often lives in a spreadsheet that no longer matches the register. A campaign site that has been closed is still listed in the register. A new supplier app is missing. And an audit lapses without anyone noticing.

We build custom solutions because the integration has to fit your management setup: where your overview of sites and apps lives, who owns what, which suppliers carry out audits, and which reporting your board and auditors require. We look at which data the register and dashboard make available, and how, in the first step. What your organisation's rules require is decided with your digital accessibility coordinator.

In line with the register

Your overview of sites and apps and the register stay aligned, with no closed sites left listed and no missing apps.

Status in your overview

The status of each site or app from the dashboard, shown in your own overview with owner and actions.

Renewed on time

A signal when an audit or statement is about to become outdated, with the owner included.

How we build your DigiToegankelijk integration

We start with your overview: how many sites and apps there are, who owns them, how they are audited, and where things fall out of line with the register.

1
Mapping your overview

Your sites and apps, owners, suppliers, audits and statements.

2
Comparing with the register

Which sites are missing, which have been closed, and what status each site has.

3
Build integration

Keeping your overview and the register in line, using what the register and dashboard offer.

4
Alerts and management

Signals for lapsing audits, reporting for the board, and ongoing management afterwards.

What a DigiToegankelijk integration actually does

The components below feature in almost every public organisation with many sites. Which ones you need depends on how you manage them.

Sites and apps

An overview with owner, supplier and purpose for each site or app.

Register

A comparison with the register of statements.

Status

The status of each site from the dashboard, shown in your overview.

Investigations

Audit reports and dates for each site or app.

Alerts

A signal when an audit or statement is about to lapse.

Promotions

Actions per site with owner and deadline.

Who we build DigiToegankelijk integrations for

The integration is intended for organisations that need to account for a large number of sites and apps.

Municipalities

Main websites, campaigns and supplier-built apps. A complete overview is the core of it.

Provinces and water boards

Many project sites. Closed sites matter most.

Executors

Portals and apps with many users. The actions per site are what matter most.

Suppliers and agencies

Management across multiple government bodies. The overview per client is the core of it.

Technology and integrations

This page is about integrations with DigiToegankelijk. For building accessible software, see our page on digitally accessible software, for apps our page on digitally accessible apps, and for municipalities our page on software for municipalities. Why Appfront for your DigiToegankelijk integration?

A site that isn't in your overview isn't audited and isn't improved. That's what we build on: an overview that stays in line with the register, status per site, and signals before anything expires.

Complete

Your overview and the register list the same sites and apps.

On time

An expiring audit sends a signal to the owner.

Accountable

Reporting for the board and auditors without manual work.

Security and privacy for a DigiToegankelijk integration

The integration processes data about sites, apps, owners, suppliers and audits. Access credentials are stored encrypted and used only by the integration. Access is set up per role.

The integration runs in a European data centre or in your own environment, with encrypted storage, daily backups and a log of every change.

Frequently asked questions about a DigiToegankelijk integration

Questions government organisations ask before getting started.

DigiToegankelijk is Logius's knowledge centre for digital accessibility in government. It manages the register of statements and the DigiToegankelijk dashboard, which shows how organisations are performing.

It keeps your own overview of sites and apps in line with the register, brings the status per site into your overview, and sends a signal when an audit or statement is about to expire.

Which data the register and dashboard make available, and in what form, we establish in the first step. Where there is no interface, the integration works with what is available, such as public data or an export.

No. Statements are created with the statement wizard. The integration ensures that your overview, the audits and the statements stay together and remain in line with the register.

No. This integration concerns the management and accountability of your sites and apps. For building accessible software, there is a separate page.

Yes. A supplier or agency can update actions and audits per site, and sees only the sites they work on.

For organisations with many sites and apps, where a spreadsheet no longer keeps track of what exists and how it is performing. For a handful of sites, MijnDigiToegankelijk is often enough.
