Custom CCV Shop integration
Appfront builds custom integrations between your CCV Shop webshop and the systems you work with: your ERP, accounting, PIM, stock management or in-house software. Through the CCV Shop REST API and webhooks, we synchronise products, orders, stock and customers, so you no longer have to enter anything twice. You keep your catalogue up to date, process orders faster and avoid errors in your stock.
What is a CCV Shop integration?
CCV Shop is a Dutch SaaS webshop platform that helps SME retailers and e-commerce businesses run their online store. Out of the box, you manage products, categories, orders and customers in the CCV Shop back end. As your webshop grows, you no longer want to retype that data into your accounts, ERP or stock system by hand, and that is where an integration comes in.
In practice, a custom integration means: products and stock are written automatically from your ERP or PIM to the webshop, new orders flow straight into your back office, customer details are kept in sync, and stock movements are fed back so your catalogue is always accurate. This runs through the CCV Shop REST API, with resources for products, orders, categories, customers, stock and invoices, supplemented by event-driven webhooks.
Appfront builds in line with the official CCV Shop developer documentation and the OWASP ASVS security standard. Please note that this page covers the webshop and data integration. If you are looking to connect iDEAL, card terminal payments or refunds, see our CCV payment integration.
Orders processed automatically
Every new order in CCV Shop flows into your back office straight away via the API or a webhook, including order lines and customer details. No retyping, no missed orders: your team processes faster and with fewer errors.
Stock always up to date
Stock levels from your warehouse, WMS or ERP are written back to the webshop. Customers see what is genuinely available, overselling is prevented, and your catalogue stays accurate without manual effort.
Product data from a single source
Manage products, prices, attributes and photos in your PIM or ERP and have them written to CCV Shop automatically. One source of truth, consistent product pages and faster listing of new items.
Our development process for CCV Shop integrations
We work to a proven methodology that removes uncertainty early and delivers a stable integration. From an initial analysis of your webshop, product data and back-office systems through to going live and ongoing management, every step is designed to produce an integration your team can understand and trust.
We map out which data you want to exchange (products, orders, stock, customers), the direction it flows in, and which systems CCV Shop needs to connect with.
We design the integration architecture, set up API authentication and webhooks, and define an error handling and data mapping strategy.
Implementation with automated tests, structured logging and monitoring. You see working builds along the way.
Controlled go-live with data validation and a safety net, followed by ongoing management and further development.
What a CCV Shop integration delivers in practice
Every CCV Shop integration is set up specifically for your range, order flows and adjacent systems. Below are the features we most often deliver for webshops that want to connect their CCV Shop to their back office.
CCV Shop REST API & HMAC authentication
We integrate with the CCV Shop REST API using a public/private key and HMAC-signed requests via the x-public and x-hash headers. We build authentication, pagination and rate limiting to be robust, with keys stored securely in a vault.
Product & catalogue sync
Synchronise products, variants, attributes, prices, EAN codes and product images between your PIM or ERP and CCV Shop. New items and price changes go live automatically, without double maintenance.
Orders & order lines
Pass orders with order lines, order notes and status through to your ERP, accounting or fulfilment system. We write status updates back to the webshop so that the customer and the back office always see the same picture.
Stock synchronisation
Real-time or scheduled stock updates between webshop, warehouse and ERP. When you sell across multiple channels, this prevents overselling and keeps the stock shown in CCV Shop reliable.
Synchronise customer data
Pass customer and address details from CCV Shop to your CRM, accounting or ERP, and vice versa. One customer view across your channels, with attention to data minimisation and GDPR.
Webhooks & app integration
Event-based webhooks capture changes the moment they happen, such as a new order, customer or product update. Where appropriate, we package this as an app in the CCV Shop App Store, with a configuration page in the webshop back end.
Typical use cases in practice
A CCV Shop integration looks quite different from one webshop to the next. We often see a number of recurring patterns, and for each we have a proven setup that pays close attention to the catalogue, orders, stock and the correct mapping to your systems.
Retail webshops
SMEs in retail with a physical shop and a CCV Shop webshop that want to feed their range, prices and stock from one point-of-sale system or ERP. Orders flow into the back office and stock stays in sync across channels. See also our e-commerce development services.
B2B webshops
Wholesalers and B2B sellers with customer-specific prices, volume tiers and large orders. We integrate CCV Shop with the ERP so that price agreements, stock and orders are correct and invoicing flows automatically into the accounts. See our API integrations.
Brands & D2C
Manufacturers and brands that sell directly to consumers via CCV Shop. Product data from the PIM, stock from the warehouse and orders to fulfilment, with one source of truth for a consistent brand experience and fast rollout of new collections.
Multichannel sellers
Entrepreneurs who sell on marketplaces alongside their CCV Shop. We build middleware that keeps catalogue and stock aligned across all channels and collects orders from every channel centrally, preventing overselling and keeping order processing a single process.
Technology we use
We build CCV Shop integrations with the official REST API and webhooks, combined with the back-end stack that suits you. The exact choice depends on your back-office systems and data volume, so that your own team can manage or further develop the integration.
Why choose Appfront for your CCV Shop integration?
Appfront has extensive experience building API integrations for a wide range of organisations in the Netherlands. We always start with a thorough analysis of your existing systems and processes. An integration should not only work technically, but also add practical value to the way you work.
For every integration, we write clear documentation and make sure your own team, or any future supplier, can understand and manage it. No black box, just transparent code and clear agreements on monitoring, alerting and maintenance.
You work with a dedicated point of contact who understands both the technical and the functional side. This keeps communication short, prevents misunderstandings and speeds up decisions when choices need to be made during development.

Security and privacy in CCV Shop integrations
A webshop integration processes customer and order data, and therefore personal data. Appfront builds in line with CCV Shop security best practices and the OWASP ASVS. That means, among other things: API keys and secrets held in a secure vault, HMAC signing and validation of both requests and incoming webhooks, and scoped permissions per integration. We limit the data exchanged to what the process genuinely requires.
The CCV Shop API works with a public and private key and HMAC hashes, which we manage securely and rotate periodically. We document the data flows, mapped fields and webhook configuration so that your record of processing activities is complete and you can demonstrate compliance with the GDPR. Customer and order data remain traceable and under control, from webshop to back office.
More on our security approach: information security policy and CVD policy.
- GDPR-compliant data processing and data minimisation
- Encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest
- HMAC signing and validation of requests and webhooks
- API keys in a secure vault with periodic rotation
- Role-based access and least-privilege principles
- Automatic retries and dead-letter queues
- Monitoring and alerting for anomalies
- Documentation for your record of processing activities
Frequently asked questions about CCV Shop integrations
Answers to the questions we are asked most often about CCV Shop implementations.
A CCV Shop integration is a technical link between your CCV Shop webshop and another system, such as your ERP, accounting software, PIM, inventory management, WMS or your own application. Through the CCV Shop REST API and webhooks, products, categories, orders, customers and stock are exchanged programmatically. This means you no longer have to enter data twice: a new order in CCV Shop appears automatically in your back office, and stock changes from your warehouse are written back to the webshop. For the payment side of CCV, we build a separate integration.
Via the CCV Shop REST API, data available includes products (including product images, attributes and EAN codes), categories, orders with order lines and order notes, customers, stock levels, invoices, suppliers and parcels. We determine together with you which data flows are relevant and in which direction they should run, for example catalogue and stock from your ERP to the webshop, and orders and customers from the webshop to your back office.
The CCV Shop REST API uses an API key (public key) and an API secret (private key), which the webshop administrator creates in the backend under the API settings. Each request is signed with an HMAC hash calculated over, among other things, the HTTP method and the data sent, and passed along in headers such as x-public and x-hash. If the API settings are not yet visible, the API app must first be installed from the App Store. We set up this authentication securely and keep the keys in a secure vault.
Yes. CCV Shop offers event-based webhooks that send a signal for each change, for example when an order is placed or changed, a new customer is added, or a product is updated. This allows your software to respond immediately instead of polling at intervals. Where real-time isn't needed, or as a complement, we can also work with scheduled synchronisations. Together we'll choose the approach that suits your volumes and processes.
Yes. A frequently requested integration is one between CCV Shop and an accounting or ERP package, so that orders, invoices and customer details flow automatically into your bookkeeping. Integrations with a PIM for product data, a WMS or stock system for inventory, and marketplaces or multichannel tooling are also common. We build the middleware that connects the CCV Shop API to your specific systems and fields.
The CCV Shop App Store offers ready-made apps for common integrations. If such a standard app fits your situation, it is often the quickest route and we would advise using it. Custom development makes sense when no standard app exists, when it doesn't go far enough, or when it doesn't match your own systems, fields or business logic. We will honestly assess whether an existing app is sufficient before proposing custom work.
Yes. A webshop integration processes customer and order data, and therefore personal data. Appfront builds in line with the OWASP ASVS: API keys and secrets held in a secure vault, HMAC signing and validation of requests and webhooks, encryption in transit and least-privilege permissions per integration. We document the data flows so that your record of processing activities remains complete and you can demonstrate compliance with the GDPR. Only the data required for the process is exchanged.
Yes. Appfront regularly takes over existing CCV Shop integrations, including those built by another party. We review the API integration, webhook configuration, error handling and field mapping, document the current setup and recommend improvements. We then take care of adjustments, extensions and monitoring, including timely rotation of API keys.
