Yes. The weighbridge is the heart of a scrap yard, so we integrate the software directly with the weighing equipment. A calibrated weighbridge falls under the Dutch Metrology Act, so the weight has to be recorded reliably and traceably. We read the gross and tare weights, calculate the net weight, link it to the supplier, the material type and the day's price, and record the weighing slip. That way the weighperson doesn't need to type anything in, and the records match what has actually crossed the bridge.

Yes. Anyone trading in or transporting metal waste has to deal with waste stream administration. We support preparing the waste consignment note with the correct Eural code and VIHB number, the receipt and dispatch notifications to the Landelijk Meldpunt Afvalstoffen (LMA, the National Waste Notification Point), and, for cross-border shipments, the Annex VII document under the European Waste Shipment Regulation (EVOA). Where possible the data comes from the weighing and the purchase transaction, so you don't re-enter the same information. We always verify how it works against the current regulations.

Purchasing copper and copper alloys has been subject to an identification requirement and a ban on cash payments since 2013, introduced to combat copper theft. In addition, the Wwft cash limit applies to cash payments. The software records the seller's identity, links it to the transaction and sends payment by bank transfer instead of cash wherever the law requires it. That gives you a watertight purchasing register, so you can show who supplied what if you are inspected.

Yes. In metal trading, the material type and purity determine the value: copper, aluminium, brass, zinc, lead, stainless steel and mixed streams are each administered separately. The software keeps stock by material type and grade class, records separating and upgrading on the yard, and follows each batch from purchase through to sale or disposal. That shows you what is in stock, at what purchase cost, and the margin between purchase and sale for each material stream.
