Custom software for a marketplace integration with your stock
If you sell on bol, Amazon and other marketplaces, each platform has its own way of listing products: different categories, different mandatory attributes, its own rules for price, stock and shipping, and its own settlement with commission. Appfront builds the software in your back office that handles this centrally: every product from your ERP listed correctly per marketplace, stock levels with a buffer per channel, and orders and settlements that flow back into your own administration.
What is software that connects your stock to marketplaces?
Marketplace integration software is the layer between your ERP and the marketplaces you sell on. For each marketplace, it records which product is listed there, under which category, with which attributes, at what price and under which stock rule. It lists new products with the data the platform requires, passes on stock levels with a buffer per channel, retrieves orders and puts them in your ERP, and matches the marketplace's settlement, including commission and fees, to the orders it relates to. Anything a marketplace rejects comes back with the reason.
Without a system like this, every marketplace has its own way of working. An employee lists products per platform in a portal or with a spreadsheet, using attributes that are named slightly differently. A listing is rejected and nobody notices. The price on Amazon is still the old one, the size M variant is on bol under the wrong EAN, and a marketplace payout is an amount nobody can trace to specific orders and commission. With a few hundred products on two platforms that is awkward; with thousands on four it is unworkable.
We build custom software because your ERP, your product range and your marketplaces determine what the software needs to do. Which system is the source for products and stock, which platforms you use, how you set prices per channel, which products should never be on a marketplace and how your accounting processes the settlement all differ. The software uses the interfaces that each marketplace offers to sellers and does not become a second stock administration: your ERP remains the source.

How we build your software that connects your stock to marketplaces
We start with your sales: which marketplaces you use, how many products are listed on them, where the product data and stock come from, and how orders and settlements are currently processed. Then we build the first version for the marketplace with the most revenue, with the mapping of your products, the stock rules and the orders back in your ERP, because that is where most of the manual work is. You use it for a while. Other marketplaces, listing new products, pricing rules and the settlement follow once that is running well. After that, we maintain the software whenever a marketplace changes its interface or rules.

Technology and integrations
This page is about the integration software in your back office. For the daily flow of stock and orders with an admin screen for your team, see our page on the app for a marketplace integration with your stock. If you want a single source of truth for stock across all your channels, including your own webshop and the shop floor, see our page on multichannel stock synchronisation; for bol in particular there is the bol.com Seller API integration, and if you want to launch a marketplace of your own, there is our page on a marketplace platform. Why Appfront for software that connects your stock to marketplaces?
A listing that is silently rejected, a variant under the wrong EAN, or a payout nobody can tell the commission in: each costs a seller revenue and time. That is what we build around: every item listed correctly, stock following your rules per channel, and every order and settlement fed back into your own administration.
One source
Your ERP stays in charge.
Visible
Rejection with a reason.
Balanced
Settlement per order.
Security and privacy for software that connects your stock to marketplaces
The software works with the access keys of your seller accounts and with customer data from orders. Keys are stored encrypted and can be revoked per marketplace. Customer data goes only to your ERP and is not kept in the integration any longer than the order and the return period require.
The software runs in a European data centre, with encrypted connections and storage. Every listing, stock change, order and settlement is recorded with a timestamp and source, so that in a dispute with a marketplace you can look up what was passed on and when.
Frequently asked questions about software that connects your stock to marketplaces
Questions that e-commerce managers and webshop owners ask before getting started.
It records, per marketplace, which item is listed, with which attributes, price and stock rule, lists new items, passes on stock levels, retrieves orders and enters them in your ERP, and links the marketplace's settlement to the orders.
The app is the screen for the daily flow: stock sent, orders received, handling exceptions. This software is the layer in your back office: the mapping per channel, listing with the right attributes, pricing rules and settlement. They work together.
Multichannel stock synchronisation is about a single source of truth for stock across all your channels, including your own webshop and the shop floor, with reservations. This software is specifically about marketplaces and their own rules for listing, stock and settlement.
With every marketplace that offers a seller interface, such as bol and Amazon. We build in each platform's own rules separately. Which platforms you use determines the order.
Yes. For each marketplace you can set a buffer, a maximum or an exclusion, per item or per group. Whatever you reserve for your own webshop or a regular customer never goes to the marketplace.
The software reads the settlement, with revenue, commission and fees, and matches it to the orders it belongs to. Your accounting sees what was deducted per order instead of one lump sum.
For sellers with their own ERP or WMS, a large product range and more than one marketplace. If your stock sits in your webshop platform and you sell on a single marketplace, that platform's standard integration is often enough.
