As a senior full-stack developer at Appfront, you provide technical direction for projects for our clients. You design the architecture of web and mobile applications, build both frontend and backend yourself, and help junior and mid-level developers grow.

We work end to end, from discovery and concept through development, launch and further iteration, with short sprints and a focus on quality, security, performance, design and maintainability.
About this role
You are the technical point of contact within a project team. You translate a client's needs into an architecture that is secure, fast and maintainable, and you safeguard the quality of the code the team delivers.
What will you do?
- Design the architecture and data model for new applications
- Take technical leadership within project teams
- Coaching junior and mid-level developers through code reviews and pairing
- Contribute to discovery and scoping sessions with clients
- Set up and improve CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, security and performance
- Building complex features and integrations yourself
Technology stack
What are we looking for?
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development
- In-depth knowledge of TypeScript, React and Node.js or Python
- Experience designing architecture for web and mobile applications
- Experience with databases, API design and integrations with external systems
- Experience mentoring other developers
- Fluent Dutch (required), both spoken and written
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure and infrastructure as code
- Experience with security, such as OWASP and authorisation models
- Experience with React Native or Flutter
- Experience with AI and LLM integrations in production
- Experience in an agency or consultancy environment
