Mid-level full-stack developer
As a mid-level full-stack developer at Appfront, you build features independently, from database to interface, for web and mobile applications for our clients. You work in a team of designers, developers and data experts and are responsible for development, maintenance and deployment.

Appfront builds custom solutions for B2B and B2C organisations. We design and build web and mobile applications, integrate systems via APIs and automate processes with AI. We work end to end, from discovery and concept through development, launch and further iteration, with short sprints and a focus on quality, security, performance, design and maintainability.
About this role
You take ownership of features from start to finish and help shape how we build an application. You liaise with designers and the client on technical decisions.
What will you do?
- Building features end-to-end, from data model and API to interface
- Developing RESTful APIs and integrations with external systems
- Working with designers to design precisely and implement
- Carrying out code reviews and contributing to architectural decisions
- Deploying, monitoring and maintaining applications
- Taking part in sprint planning and technical discussions
Technology stack
What are we looking for?
Skills
- 3+ years of experience in full-stack development
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
- Experience with React or similar frameworks
- Knowledge of server-side development (Node.js, Python)
- Experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
- Fluent Dutch (required), both spoken and written
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Docker
- Experience with mobile development (React Native)
- An affinity for UI/UX design
- Experience with AI and LLM integrations
