Junior full-stack developer
As a junior full-stack developer at Appfront, you'll help build web and mobile applications for our clients. You'll work in a team with experienced developers, designers and data experts, write code for both the frontend and the backend, and grow through code reviews and real projects.

Appfront builds custom solutions for B2B and B2C organisations. We design and build web and mobile applications, integrate systems via APIs and automate processes with AI. We work end to end, from discovery and concept through development, launch and further iteration, with short sprints and a focus on quality, security, performance, design and maintainability.
About this role
You start in a project team and take on real tasks from day one. Experienced colleagues review your code and think along with you, so you quickly learn how we build, test and roll out apps.
What will you do?
- Build features across the frontend and backend, alongside an experienced developer
- Turn screens from Figma designs into working React components
- Write and test API endpoints and database queries
- Find and fix bugs, and add tests
- Take part in code reviews, sprint planning and stand-ups
Technology stack
What are we looking for?
Skills
- A completed degree in computer science or a related field, or demonstrably equivalent knowledge through your own projects
- Initial experience with JavaScript or TypeScript, for example through an internship, your studies or personal projects
- Basic knowledge of React or a comparable frontend framework
- Basic knowledge of Node.js or Python, and of SQL
- You work with Git and ask for help when you get stuck
- Fluent Dutch (required), both spoken and written
Nice to have
- Personal projects on GitHub that you can show
- Experience with React Native or Flutter
- Knowledge of Docker
- Interest in AI integrations and automation
