As a software developer at Appfront, you work in a team of talented designers, developers and data experts on various projects for our clients. Depending on the project, you are responsible for development (frontend and/or backend), and for maintaining and deploying apps.

Appfront builds custom solutions for B2B and B2C organisations. We design and build web and mobile applications, integrate systems via APIs and automate processes with AI. We work end to end, from discovery and concept through development, launch and further iteration, with short sprints and a focus on quality, security, performance, design and maintainability.
About this role
At Appfront, you work on challenging technical problems where you can apply both frontend and backend expertise. You work in a close-knit team on a variety of projects for our clients.
What will you do?
- Building web and mobile applications with modern frameworks
- Developing RESTful APIs and microservices
- Working with designers on pixel-perfect implementations
- Carrying out code reviews and contributing to architectural decisions
- Taking part in sprint planning and technical discussions
Technology stack
What are we looking for?
Skills
- 3+ years of experience in full-stack development
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience with React or similar frameworks
- Knowledge of server-side development (Node.js, Python)
- Experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
- Fluent Dutch (required), both spoken and written
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps
- Experience with mobile development (React Native)
- An affinity with UI/UX design
- Experience with AI/ML integrations
