2Solar, now Sollit, with your own systems Leads, quotes and status without retyping Via the public API

Custom 2Solar integration development

2Solar is software for installers of solar panels, home batteries, EV chargers and heat pumps, covering everything from lead and quote to scheduling and handover. Since July 2025 it has been called Sollit. It comes with standard integrations for accounting, wholesalers and inverters, among others. Appfront builds the link to the systems that are not on that list, using the public API, so leads, quotes and projects no longer have to be transferred by hand.

What is a 2Solar integration?

2Solar, called Sollit since July 2025, is software for installers in the energy transition. It supports the whole process: leads and customer data, a digital roof survey and panel layout, quotes, invoices, installation scheduling, materials lists, handover forms, maintenance contracts and monitoring. There are integrations with Exact and AFAS, among others, as well as wholesalers, inverters, Mollie for payments and lead platforms.

Anything that is not covered by those integrations often ends up being done by hand. Enquiries from your own website arrive by email and are retyped. A different accounting package or an in-house CRM is not on the list. Management wants revenue and order backlog per branch in its own dashboard, and the fitters' schedule lives in another system.

We build custom integrations because installation companies differ: which channels they use, which accounting package, which in-house systems, and which figures need to go where. 2Solar has a public API covering people, enquiries, quotes, designs, products and statuses, secured with an API key. The integration runs over that.

How we build your 2Solar integration

We start with your business: which systems you use alongside 2Solar, which data is currently handled by hand, and whether your system might already be covered by the standard integrations. Then we look at what the API offers for your situation and how you obtain an API key. We often start with leads from your own website into 2Solar, because that is where most of the retyping happens. Quotes to your accounting package or CRM, and project status to your scheduling system or dashboard, follow once the first integration is running well. After that, we maintain the integration whenever 2Solar or your own systems change.

Why Appfront for your 2Solar integration?

Enquiries that arrive by email and are retyped, quotes that are entered twice, and figures per branch that are only known after the month has ended all cost an installation company time and speed towards the customer. That is what we build on: leads straight in, no double work, and an integration via the 2Solar API.

Security and privacy with a 2Solar integration

The integration processes customer data such as names, addresses, contact details and sometimes information about their home and energy use. That is personal data. We only use what is necessary, the API key is stored encrypted, and every message is logged.

The integration runs in a European data centre, with encrypted storage and daily backups. We record the processing in a data processing agreement.

Frequently asked questions about a 2Solar integration

Questions installation companies ask before they get started.

2Solar is software for installers of solar panels, home batteries, charging points, heat pumps and climate systems, covering everything from lead and quote to planning, completion and maintenance. Since July 2025 it has been called Sollit, and 2solar.nl redirects there. The integration works with the same software, whichever name you know it by.

Yes, including with Exact and AFAS, with wholesalers, with inverters from various brands, with Mollie and with lead platforms. If your system is on that list and the integration does what you need, custom development isn't necessary, and we'll tell you so. A custom integration is for systems and channels that aren't on the list.

Through the public 2Solar API, which is documented as OpenAPI and works with an API key. It covers people, enquiries, quotes, designs, products and statuses, among other things. How you get a key and which data is available for your account is something we look at in the first step.

Yes. An enquiry from your website, or from a channel that isn't connected as standard, is created in 2Solar as a person and an enquiry, with the details the customer filled in. If the customer already exists, the enquiry is linked to them instead of creating a duplicate customer.

Yes. The integration retrieves the status of enquiries, quotes and projects and puts it in your reporting or dashboard, by branch, by salesperson and by period. That way management can see the order book without exports.
